Terms of service
Last updated 24 August 2026
These terms are a contract between you and ProTyz (“ProTyz”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using protyz.com, the ProTyz dashboard, mobile app, or a booking website we host, you agree to them. If you use ProTyz for a business, you confirm you can bind that business.
1. The service
ProTyz gives service businesses a booking website, client management, scheduling, team coordination, reminders, reviews, payroll exports and related tools. We may add, change or retire features; if we retire something material to a paid plan we will tell you at least 30 days ahead.
2. Your account
- You must be 18 or older and provide accurate details. Keep your password private; you are responsible for activity under your account.
- One business may run several service lines under one account. You may invite team members; you are responsible for what they do on the platform.
- Tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Plans and payment
- Free. The core service is free with no time limit and no card required. We may set fair-use limits to prevent abuse.
- Pro. $10 per month (plus applicable tax) adds SMS features and one custom domain. Billed monthly in advance through Stripe, renews automatically, cancel any time from Billing — cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid month and we do not prorate refunds except where the law requires.
- Domains. A domain we buy for you is registered in your name. Registration fees above the included allowance are charged to you. If your Pro plan ends, the domain stops auto-renewing but stays yours to transfer.
- Prices may change; we will give paying customers at least 30 days' notice by email.
4. Your clients and your content
- Your clients are yours. We never take a commission on bookings made through your site and we never market to your clients on our own behalf.
- You own the content you upload (logos, photos, descriptions, reviews you collect). You give us a licence to host, display and transmit it as needed to run the service.
- You are responsible for that content and for your relationship with your clients: honouring bookings, your own pricing, cancellation and refund policies, licences, insurance and taxes.
- You must have the right to contact the people you add as clients. Reminders and marketing texts are sent under your name; you must comply with the TCPA, CAN-SPAM and any local rules on electronic messages, and honour opt-outs.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use ProTyz for anything unlawful, deceptive, or harmful, or to offer services you are not licensed to provide.
- Send spam, scrape the platform, probe its security, or interfere with other users' sites.
- Upload malware, or content that is defamatory, infringing, or discriminatory.
- Post fake reviews or manipulate ratings.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these rules, after warning where practical.
6. Privacy
Our privacy policy explains how we handle personal information. For your clients' data we act as your processor; you remain responsible for having a lawful basis to collect it.
7. Availability and support
We aim for the service to be available around the clock but do not guarantee uninterrupted operation. Support is provided by email and through Help & Feedback in the dashboard; we normally respond within one business day.
8. Intellectual property
ProTyz, its software, templates and branding belong to ProTyz. You may use them only to run your business on the platform. Feedback and suggestions you send us may be used without obligation to you.
9. Ending the agreement
You can close your account at any time from Settings; export your data first. We may close accounts that are inactive for more than 12 months (with notice) or that violate these terms. On closure we delete your data as described in the privacy policy.
10. Disclaimers
The service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. We are not a party to the transaction between a business and its clients and do not vouch for either.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, ProTyz will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim (or US$100 if you paid nothing).
12. Indemnity
You will defend and indemnify ProTyz against claims arising from your content, your services to clients, your messages to them, or your breach of these terms.
13. Disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States. Before starting legal action, both sides agree to try to resolve the matter informally by contacting us first and allowing 30 days.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will post the new version here and, for material changes, email account holders at least 14 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the service after that means you accept them.
15. Contact
