ProTyz for Pool Service

Route-first scheduling for pool service

Weekly stops that repeat on their own, the day’s route in driving order, a photo from every visit, and next season’s openings and closings lined up before the weather turns.

Sound familiar?

Every pool on the route, every week, without the clipboard.

The week’s route lives on a clipboard, and when a tech calls in sick you rebuild it from memory.

Openings and closings all arrive in the same three weeks, and last season’s customers go to whoever called first.

A homeowner asks whether anyone came on Thursday and you have nothing to show them.

Software that bills by the pool gets more expensive with every account you sign.

Built for Pool Service

Everything in ProTyz, tuned to the way your business actually works.

Weekly stops that never need rebooking

Put an account on weekly, bi-weekly or monthly service and the frequency ladder prices it at the maintenance rate. The stop reappears on the same day each week until you change it, and the confirmation goes out without you typing one.

Priced by the pool in front of you

Gallons tier, plaster or vinyl, salt or chlorine, spa attached — each input moves the price as it is chosen, and extras like a cartridge filter clean or a tile line brush stack on top. A minimum price stops the small backyard pool from booking below what the drive costs.

A tight service area by ZIP

Route density is the entire business, so list only the ZIP codes you want to drive and the booking page declines anything outside them before it takes a slot. Open a new ZIP the week you actually have enough stops to justify crossing into it.

Tomorrow’s route in driving order

The day’s stops come back optimized into a route rather than the order they were booked, so nobody crosses town twice before lunch. Move a stop to another tech and the route rebuilds around the change.

Photos and check-in from the pool deck

Techs run the day in a mobile web app that opens in the phone browser — nothing to install. They check in at the address inside a geofence, photograph the basket and the finished water, and mark the stop complete on the way back to the truck.

Openings and closings lined up early

Top Opportunities pulls every pool you opened last April or closed last October and puts the list in front of you before the season flips. You edit the draft and press send; it never contacts a customer on its own.

Green-pool recoveries quoted, not guessed

A neglected pool belongs on a quote, not a price list. Take it as a quote request, send a line-item quote covering the return visits, and it becomes a booking with a deposit recorded on it when the customer accepts from the link.

Gate code, dog and last week’s note on the stop

The client record holds the address, the gate code, the dog’s name and the full visit history, and two-way messaging keeps every thread in one inbox. Reminders go out 24 hours ahead by email, or an hour ahead by text on Pro.

How it works

1

Set your services and pool inputs

Start from the pool catalogue — weekly maintenance, filter clean, opening, closing, green-pool recovery — and edit the prices. Add the inputs that actually change your number, size and surface and salt, then set a minimum and mark recoveries as quote-first.

2

Draw the service area and publish

Enter the ZIP codes worth driving and publish your free booking site on yourbusiness.protyz.com. New pools inside the area pick a real open slot; anything outside never reaches your calendar. Pro puts the site on a domain you own.

3

Drive the route, keep the season

Each morning the crew opens the optimized route on their phones and works down it, checking in and leaving photos. Openings, closings and quiet accounts surface in Top Opportunities so next season is booked before it starts.

Questions

Does it actually build the day’s route?

Yes. The Routes tab takes the stops scheduled for a day and optimizes them into driving order per technician instead of booking order. Reassign or add a stop and the route rebuilds, and the crew sees the updated list on their phones.

How does a pool get priced?

Base price plus the inputs you define — gallons tier, surface, salt or chlorine, spa attached — plus extras such as a filter clean, then the frequency discount for weekly or bi-weekly service. The customer watches an itemized quote update as they choose, and a minimum price protects the small jobs.

Can customers see that the tech was there?

Techs check in at the address inside a geofence and attach photos to the visit, which sit on the job in your dashboard for you to send or show. There is no live map for customers to watch — that is not something we do.

Do you charge per pool?

No. Unlimited pools, clients and team members are on the free plan, and there are no per-account or per-user fees. Pro is a flat $10 a month for SMS and a custom domain — worth comparing against per-pool pricing as of mid-2026, and always check the other vendor’s pricing page.
